Leopardo Begins Work on Build-Out for Sonova

Leopardo recently took part in a groundbreaking for Sonova’s new United States-based office in Aurora, Illinois. The ceremony was attended by Aurora mayor, Richard Irvin, as well as representatives from Sonova, Leopardo Companies, Colliers International, ESD Global, Whitney Architects, Invest Aurora Illinois and the Aurora Economic Development agency.

As part of Sonova’s relocation from its present office in Warrenville, Illinois, Leopardo will complete a full, 65,000-SF demolition and interior build-out across two floors. With an emphasis on a healthy corporate culture, the new office will feature an open layout with numerous collaborative spaces. The design will also allow for the incorporation of natural lighting, promoting employee wellbeing and energy efficiency.

Founded in 1947, Sonova is a leading provider of innovative hearing care solutions, offering customers a comprehensive product portfolio, with offerings ranging from hearing instruments to cochlear implants to wireless communication solutions. Sonova is present in over 100 countries across the world and has a workforce of over 14,000 employees.

Leopardo is collaborating with Whitney Architects, Colliers International and ESD Global to complete the project by the summer of 2020.
