Leopardo Breaks Ground on 7,000-SF Office and Laboratory Addition for Silesia Flavors

Leopardo broke ground on a 7,000-square-foot design-build office and laboratory addition for Silesia Flavors in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on Friday, May 25, 2018.

The Germany-based creator and global distributor of food and beverage flavors is celebrating 108 years of business and 20 years at its location in the Prairie Stone business complex, which Leopardo also built back in 1999. The design-build addition will become Silesia’s new Customer Innovation Center and will include state-of-the-art laboratories for flavor creation and applications, space dedicated to innovation, creativity, as well as commercial office spaces to accommodate the company’s growth.

The office and laboratory addition is another in a growing list of improvement projects Leopardo has completed for Silesia at its headquarters. Serving as general contractor, construction manager and design-builder, Leopardo is working in collaboration with Harris Architects to complete the project by the end of October 2018.
