Leopardo Named Multi-Family General Contractor of the Year by Illinois RE Journal
Company also Honored for Top Medical and Industrial Projects
Leopardo Construction is proud to announce its recognition as Multi-Family General Contractor of the Year by Illinois RE Journal at their 2025 Real Estate Awards. In addition, Leopardo earned recognition for two standout projects – Medical Property of the Year and Industrial Project of the Year (North).
The Silver Cross Medical Pavilion in Orland Park, Illinois was named Medical Property of the Year. This 42,000-square-foot, two-story multispecialty outpatient facility offers a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty offices, comprehensive imaging, an 18-station infusion center, an endoscopy suite, and after-hours care. The project was designed by Jensen & Halstead.
In addition, Valent BioSciences in Libertyville, Illinois won Industrial Project of the Year (North). Built in partnership with HOK Architects, this 25,000-square-foot project involved demolition and renovation of an existing facility to create office space and house state-of-the-art biotechnology and chemical manufacturing laboratories.
“These honors reflect the strength of our partnerships, the talent of our people, and the passion we bring to every project,” said Giancarlo Pacini, President and CEO of Leopardo. “We’re honored to be considered among the best in the business and proud to collaborate with clients and partners who share our commitment to excellence.”
Hosted annually, the Illinois RE Journal awards program celebrates the achievements, successes and highlights from all sectors of the commercial real estate industry. Winners were announced at their ceremony on June 5th, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.
These awards highlight Leopardo’s commitment to innovation, quality craftsmanship, and building projects that create lasting value and positive impact for the communities they serve.
