Leopardo Starts Construction of New Tazinos at the City Center at 735 N. Water Street
Location is Franchise’s First in Downtown Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (September 5, 2012) – Leopardo-Wisconsin began construction work on the new downtown Milwaukee Tazinos® Pizza and Salad Bistro. Leopardo is serving as general contractor with JFrench and Associates as architect.
Located on the first floor of the City Center at 735 N. Water St., the 4,000-square-foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating for 173 patrons along the city’s Riverwalk.
“We are thrilled that construction of our new Tazinos location is well underway,” said Jim Purcell, Tazinos®, Inc. president and CEO. “We receive feedback daily about the ever-increasing buzz relative to our pending opening, and we are equally excited to become part of the fabric of Milwaukee’s vibrant and active downtown community.” Purcell said that more news regarding additional Tazinos® locations will be released, “very soon.”
Construction began the last week of August and the project is scheduled for completion in October. This is the initial phase of Tazinos® multi-phase expansion plans. Tazinos® currently owns and operates restaurants in Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek and Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
