Illinois Eye Institute Alfred and Sarah Rosenbloom Center on Vision and Aging

Leopardo completed a two-phase project for the Illinois College of Optometry. The state-of-the-art Alfred and Sarah Rosenbloom Center on Vision and Aging was completed in the second phase to serve as a new elderly eye care facility to be used by the Illinois Eye Institute, a non-profit eye clinic that provides onsite eye care, educational outreach programs, community healthcare services, as well as research. Project components include:

  • 6,000-SF interior renovation and build-out
  • New state-of-the-art private practice-like facility
  • Included dedicated spaces for primary and secondary vision care, occupational therapy, adaptive technology, electrophysiology, psychological support, and clinical research
  • Exam rooms, sitting area, reception and lobby, as well as a brightly-lit donor wall were added
