COST MODELING PROCESS TO ENSURE YOUR PROJECT STAYS ON TARGET
Kick-off / Initial Meeting – A formal kick-off meeting with the client, architect, engineers, consultants and Leopardo begins the process. Following the meeting, but still during this initial phase, Leopardo aggressively begins drafting budgets, schedules and plans.
Schematic Design (SD) – After the initial estimate has been reviewed and approved, we immediately transition into the SD phase where the team plans and prepares design studies and drawings to illustrate scale, relationship, and project components for owner approval.
Design Development (DD) – With the schematic design complete, the next phase concentrates on polishing and perfecting the design concept in order to resolve and define all critical aspects of the project, including building materials and systems.
Construction Document (CD) – By the final phase of preconstruction, the integrated team effort ensures that constructability issues have been fully vetted, the schedule is at its tightest, and all cost models have been completed for optimal functionality and aesthetics.
