Leopardo Construction Announces Strategic Leadership Changes Following Recent Growth

Leopardo Construction, a leader in commercial construction, is proud to announce a series of key leadership promotions as the company builds upon recent growth and geographic expansion. These promotions coincide with Leopardo’s long-term strategic and succession plans designed to support continuous growth, foster employee development, and achieve construction excellence.

The following individuals have been promoted to senior leadership roles:

Todd Welch – Chief Financial Officer Todd has been with Leopardo since 2004, leading innovation in the company’s financial operations. In his new role, Todd will oversee all financial aspects of Leopardo.

 

 

Steve Smith – Executive Vice President, Markets With over 35 years at Leopardo, Steve’s leadership has been integral to the company’s success. In his new role, Steve will oversee multiple markets, including Job Order Contracting, Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Science and Technology, while continuing to lead operations at Leopardo’s Orlando, FL, and Cleveland, OH offices.


Leigh McMillen – Executive Vice President, Operations
Leigh’s career with Leopardo spans more than two decades and includes work on some of Leopardo’s largest municipal, community, recreational, office and industrial projects. In her new role, Leigh will propel the company’s overall performance through continuous process improvement and innovation. She will also oversee field operations, preconstruction and estimating as well as other key departments.

Jessica Sherwood – Senior Vice President, Growth Over the last decade, Jessica has played a pivotal role in expanding Leopardo’s presence in key sectors, particularly healthcare. In her new role, she will lead the company’s business development and strategic growth initiatives, focusing on national expansion, strategic partnerships, and client relationships.

 

Ralph Barszcz – Senior Vice President, Field Operations Since joining Leopardo, Ralph has elevated the corporate safety program to new heights, achieving industry-leading EMR scores and advancing the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts. He will now oversee all field operations.

 

Ryan Haase – Vice President, Aviation Ryan has spearheaded Leopardo’s expansion into the aviation market, securing major projects with top airline and airport clients. In his new role, he will continue to drive growth in this sector, working to expand Leopardo’s national aviation footprint.
