Leopardo Completes New Customer Innovation Center for Silesia

Leopardo completed a design-build office and laboratory addition for Silesia Flavors in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

The Germany-based creator and global distributor of food and beverage flavors celebrated 108 years of business in 2018 and 20 years at its location in the Prairie Stone business complex. The addition of Silesia’s new Customer Innovation Center features state-of-the-art laboratories for flavor creation and applications, space dedicated to innovation, creativity, as well as commercial office spaces to accommodate the company’s growth. This new space takes Silesia to a new level of service and furthers its customer-centered focus, welcoming and allowing customers to interact in a collaborative manner with Silesia’s team of experts to better meet every unique need.

The office and laboratory addition is another in a growing list of improvement projects Leopardo has completed for Silesia at its headquarters, which Leopardo also built back in 1999. Serving as general contractor, construction manager and design-builder, Leopardo worked in collaboration with Harris Architects to complete the project.
