Leopardo Construction Promotes Lauren Martin to Director of Quality Management
Leopardo is proud to announce the promotion of Lauren Martin to Director of Quality Management. In this elevated role, Martin will continue to lead the company’s comprehensive quality program, ensuring rigorous standards are met across all projects and upholding Leopardo’s reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation.
Since joining Leopardo in 2019, Martin has helped project teams mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement tailored Quality Management Plans (QMPs) to meet unique client needs. She has been instrumental in aligning quality and safety initiatives across markets while facilitating technical training that raises the bar for performance across the company.
“Lauren’s promotion is a direct reflection of her technical expertise, passion for continuous learning, and desire to do things the right way,” said Leigh McMillen, Executive Vice President of Operations. “She leads by example, and her ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution makes her a tremendous asset to both our teams and our clients.”
As Director of Quality, Martin will continue to advance Leopardo’s company-wide standards, support training and development initiatives, and serve as a key partner to project teams from preconstruction through closeout. Her promotion reflects Leopardo’s ongoing commitment to recognizing and advancing internal talent who exemplify the company’s core values of trust, drive, and collaboration.
Martin was named one of Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Women in STEM in 2023 and was recently featured in REJournal’s 2024 Women’s History Month spotlight. She holds dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Construction Management from the University of Illinois, a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and is both OSHA 30 and Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC®) certified.
