Leopardo Breaks Ground on New 8-Story Ultra-Luxury Apartment Building

Leopardo has broken ground on 61 Banks Street, a new eight-story ultra-luxury apartment building at 61 E. Banks St. on Lake Michigan in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood.

The project will fill one of the last remaining undeveloped sites along the downtown lakefront. The site, currently occupied by a parking lot, will feature 58 two-and-three-bedroom units complete with high-end finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows with lake views. The building will also feature underground parking, a green roof, as well as an extensive rooftop amenity space.

Leopardo, serving as general contractor, is collaborating with architect Booth Hansen and developer Draper and Kramer, Incorporated. The project is set to be complete in early 2019.
