Leopardo Honored with 2025 Chicagoland AGC Excellence in Safety Innovation Award
Leopardo Construction is proud to be named the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Chicagoland Associated General Contractors (AGC) Excellence in Safety Innovation Award. Presented annually as part of AGC’s Safety Awards program, this honor recognizes outstanding achievement and forward-thinking approaches to safety by both general and specialty contractors.
The Chicagoland AGC officially presented the award on May 14th during its annual Spring Summit Luncheon at Itasca’s Westin Lakeside Pavilion.
Leopardo’s industry-leading safety program is the result of meticulous planning, the expertise of our people, and a cultural commitment to sending our employees home to their families each day. With its focus on enabling things to go right, not just eliminating things that can go wrong, the company’s proactive, people-first approach defines its safety strategy. Leopardo’s low Experience Modification Rate (EMR) ranks among the top percentile of all general contractors nationwide and reflects its commitment to jobsite safety.
“This award is a recognition of our approach to safety. We don’t see it just as compliance, but as a critical part of how we build,” said Ralph Barszcz, Leopardo’s Senior Vice President, Field Operations. “It’s made possible by the dedication, collaboration, and high standards our teams bring to the field every day.”
The 2025 Chicagoland AGC Safety Innovation Award underscores Leopardo’s position as a national leader in jobsite safety. As the industry evolves, the company is committed to advancing its safety practices and setting new standards through innovation and continuous improvement.
