Leopardo Project Honored at Chicago Building Congress Merit Awards

Leopardo’s recently completed, 92,000-square-foot build-out for Edelman, the world’s largest public relations and marketing consulting firm, was honored as a finalist for the Chicago Building Congress (CBC) Merit Award at an event on May 11 at Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago. The CBC Merit Award Program has celebrated the building industry since 1956 by honoring outstanding projects completed in the greater Chicagoland area.

The Edelman project moved the company from its former, Leopardo-built location at the AON Center in downtown Chicago to 111 N. Canal to a new space that puts collaboration, flexibility and wellness at the forefront, reflecting the new ways of hybrid working that top talent will expect in the post-pandemic office. Designed to match the industry’s present and continual shift toward more integrated communications channels in the modern work environment, the space offers a barrier-less creative environment with a variety of technology-enabled work settings that allow for spontaneous interactions and brainstorming as well as quiet areas to reflect and recharge.

“This honor truly reflects the talent and team-oriented mindset of the magnificent team with whom we had the pleasure of working to deliver this exceptional project,” said Leopardo project executive Ryan Haase.

Leopardo collaborated with Edelman, STO Building Group, Sterling Bay, Structure Tone, and architecture firm Gensler to complete the project.
