- Multi-phased renovation of an active surgical critical care (SCC) unit, completed to provide a new nine-bed neurology intensive care patient room unit to operate in unison with the adjacent nine-bed SCC unit
- Construction of nine new neurology ICU rooms, a SCC isolation room and associated support spaces, as well as eight finishes upgrades and a renovation of the existing SCC unit rooms and corridors
- Coordination of a new patient room layout, shifting from the standard footprint, resulting in phased utility shutdowns and new utility infrastructure to support the new neurology unit and adjacent existing spaces
- Installation of a new electronic intensive care unit (eICU), as well as Telemetry and Philips systems for the neurology ICU patient rooms
- Phased replacement of existing air-handling unit fan coils, motors and DDC controls to serve the new unit and existing floors
- Coordinated and implemented revisions to enlarge room footprints
- Raised the entire floor of the project to meet ADA requirements without adding any additional costs
- Coordinated critical shutdowns to adjacent utilities and medical gases
