• Renovation of an existing space as part of Advocate Health’s digital patient care and management center (DPCMC), comprised of four areas with distinct but interrelated or codependent functions, tied into the DPCMC’s patient care command center, electronic ICU, central telemetry center and common staff support areas
  • Renovation was part of a planned consolidation of remote digital patient care and resource management departments relocated outside the hospital and into a commercial space
  • 56 workstations providing central telemetry monitoring for all inpatients in Advocate Illinois hospitals and support for frontline caregivers
  • Dedicated server room with over 28 server racks, cabling and supplemental cooling
  • Large break area that overlooks an adjacent pond, as well as mother’s rooms, private telephone/meditation rooms, conference rooms and coffee bar
  • Work was completed adjacent to two active command centers
  • Project team worked in close coordination with the owner’s vendors to deliver the client’s specific vision for the space
  • Developed a project-specific safety plan to address the unique safety needs and challenges presented by building during the pandemic
