The new outpatient care center is an answer to the increasing demand and growing need for healthcare services and providers in the area.
The facility includes outpatient surgical suites, clinical office space, more than 65 exam rooms, a full advanced imaging center, physical and occupational therapy spaces, operating and procedure rooms, space for additional diagnostic and treatment services, retail space serving building tenants, as well as an attached 500-space parking deck.
The two-story building is being constructed on a five-acre site located at the southeast corner of Rand and Cuba roads.
The project is part of UChicago Medicine’s Get CARE plan, which aims to dramatically increase access to emergency, trauma and specialty care.
Located at 143rd Street and LaGrange Road, the ambulatory healthcare facility is currently the University of Chicago Medicine’s largest off-campus location.
Leopardo has announced the completion of new and renovated medical office buildings on behalf of Duly Health and Care, as well as the start of a second phase of renovation at one of the sites.
