  • Renovation of an existing space for a CVS Pharmacy and convenience store
  • Walk-in cooler, fully-staffed pharmacy, photo development center and numerous product display structures to accommodate CVS’s large product selection
  • Installed a new roof, MEP and security systems, exterior skin, interior finishes, concrete sidewalks and worked in conjunction with Motivate to temporarily relocate 27 Divvy bikes
  • New exterior consists of Nichiha fiber cement panels, prefinished aluminum composite panels, imported black granite from Zimbabwe and a glass storefront
  • 32 CVS national account vendors coordinated with subcontractors to furnish and install materials

Key Challenges:

Construction took place while adjacent connected businesses remained open and operational, and the project was delivered on time and on budget while meeting the high-quality standards of CVS
Leopardo worked with CDOT, the Bureau of Forestry, Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation Bureau and the alderman to coordinate the phased closure of streets and sidewalks along Wells and Huron during construction
Coordinated deliveries and construction efforts to minimize the impact on busy traffic, neighboring businesses and residents
