Leopardo Begins Hotel Renovation in Deerfield

Leopardo recently began a renovation of the six-story Hyatt Regency hotel in Deerfield, Illinois.

Having recently acquired the property, Chicago-based Phoenix Development Partners has teamed up with Leopardo to bring necessary upgrades to the hotel that will reflect the hospitality company’s standards. Overlooking the intersection of interstates 94 and 294, the hotel is expected to become one of the best-performing in the area, servicing north suburban Chicago.

The project will feature renovations and upgrades to 300 rooms and corridors across six floors with all-new finishes, bathroom fixtures and finishes, as well as lighting and doors. Floors one through five will feature standard guest rooms, with the sixth being an executive floor with upgraded finishes. The project will be completed in two phases, the first being the renovation of the model rooms and corridors on floors one through six, with the renovation of the first-floor public spaces to follow, including restaurant and bar, reception area, lobby and conference rooms.

Leopardo is working in collaboration with Phoenix Development Partners, Daccord and Hirsch Architects to complete the project by the spring of 2020.
