Hall High School’s 100-year-old building was in serious need of upgrades. After assessing the facility’s numerous issues, it was determined that many of them could not be resolved with renovation and upgrades. As a result, the school district decided to build a new school to replace the existing building. Project highlights include:

  • 134,000-SF, three-story high school consisting of an athletic complex, academic building and performing arts center
  • Athletic complex is comprised of a main gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium, weight training/fitness room, male and female locker rooms and concession area
  • Academic building contains science technology, engineering, and math (STEM) classrooms, as well as a learning resource center and administrative offices with a conference room
  • The performing arts center houses a performance theater and stage with a high-end sound and recording system, art and food labs, kiln room, as well as a set design area and cafeteria with a kitchen
  • 10 acres of site work consisting of the complete demolition of the existing building and asbestos abatement, relocation of existing utilities, permeable pavers, and bioswales for storm water management
  • Sustainable features included daylight harvesting, occupancy sensors, permeable pavers and bioswales
