We collaborate with architects and engineers to provide constructability reviews, model analysis, coordination and cost analysis to guide the design within budget parameters. In fact, 99 percent of our estimates fall within two percent of our projected cost. We collaborate utilizing building information modeling (BIM) and offer insight throughout design and development to ensure the project is economical, efficient and exceptional.

Self-Perform

By employing and protecting a specialized team of more than 200 in-house tradespeople, we can ensure better safety, more collaboration and greater quality.

With a robust team of professional drywallers, painters, carpenters, and laborers in-house, Leopardo delivers even more value to our clients by self-performing essential construction work.

Our building services group offers general maintenance, emergency service and light construction work, unit pricing, time-and-material open books and yearly service contracts, all with competitive pricing and the flexibility to execute projects with minimal disruption to occupied spaces. We’ve earned the trust of corporations and property managers to be the maintenance and service provider they rely on year after year. Our skilled in-house tradespeople have the specialized knowledge, equipment and products to expertly complete projects ranging from quick repairs and regular maintenance to troubleshooting computer-controlled systems.

Leopardo uses both virtual design and construction (VDC) and building information modeling (BIM) to facilitate the building process. Leveraging 3D models and an ever-evolving toolkit of construction technologies allows us to deliver work better, safer and faster. Our team of in-house construction technologists work with the project team to create information-rich computer models that contain valuable information about the building’s constructability, system costs, material supply chains, energy performance, as well as subcontractor logistics. Federal

Leopardo’s disciplined approach and attention to detail make it an ideal partner for federal work.

With a bonding capacity of $250 million on a single project and up to $500 million combined, we are equipped to handle practically any project. Our past performance in the federal market includes the completion of multiple-award task orders for the Army Corps of Engineers in Georgia totaling nearly $500 million, a $44 million renovation at Fort Benning, a $19 million new Battleship Command Training Center at Fort Stewart and the LEED Gold-certified Eugene R. Sullivan Memorial Blood Center. Through a mentor/protege agreement with service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) 5366 Logistics, Leopardo provides design-build, preconstruction and general contracting services to every facet of the federal market, bearing an emphasis on U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs construction. This joint venture partnership, known as Leopardo5366, serves to grow and develop the firm and capabilities of our partner firm, as well as further our commitment to providing exceptional federal work across the nation.

Job Order Contracting

From an emergency roof repair that requires an expedited response to a complete historic facade restoration on a four-month schedule, Leopardo has the tools, the people and the flexibility to find the most cost-effective solution and complete the task on time. Our wide range of JOC experience encompasses federal, higher education, industrial and interior construction. Numerous government agencies, including the U.S. Postal Service, City of Chicago, as well as Cook and Lake counties have relied on our team’s successful track record of completing these projects.
