Leopardo Begins Work on New Affordable Housing Project in Chicago’s Lincoln Square
Leopardo recently began work on a new six-story, 86,559-square-foot mixed-use affordable housing apartment building in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Square. The project comes as the result of a community engagement process spanning several years that included nearly one thousand participants, during which the priorities of expanding affordability and fostering a strong small business environment were identified.
“Leopardo is proud to be a part of a project that will provide much needed affordable housing in the Lincoln Square community, and we are excited to get to work,” said Leopardo Senior Vice President Mike Mastin.
The 63-unit apartment building will include a resident lounge and terrace, public parking, and approximately 5,000 square feet of commercial space with outdoor seating.
Leopardo is proud to be working closely with its client, The Community Builders, general contractor partner KMW Communities, compliance consultant Tandem Ventures, and architect DesignBridge to deliver the project in the Fall of 2024.
