Leopardo Completes Addition and Renovation of a Kansas Senior Living Residence

Leopardo recently completed a renovation and design-build addition of an existing senior living residence in Olathe, Kansas. The new Anthology Senior Living residence provides residents with an environment supporting mind, body and spirit with contemporary, private accommodations that offer warm designs and easy access to common areas.

The new addition ties into the existing residence and adds 156 independent and assisted living units to the building. In addition to relocating major site utilities, Leopardo also organized the preservation and reuse of existing ground soil to create a stable foundation. Because work was completed inside and around occupied residences, all necessary utility shutdowns were meticulously coordinated to minimize the effect on daily operations and residents.

“This new residence will meet the needs of the growing senior living community in Olathe and provide more space and resources for its residents,” said Leopardo Senior Vice President Giancarlo Pacini.

Leopardo collaborated with Anthology Senior Living and architecture firm Harley Ellis Devereaux to complete the project.
