- Renovations to the children’s department focused on improving usability and layout
- Single and group study spaces, as well as technology work zones were added to the teen area
- A makerspace lab called The Forge features innovative tools and technology for youth and adults to create and experiment, including sewing machines and 3D printers
- Collaborative and quiet work areas were added to the second floor, along with improved seating, lighting and technology
- Self-performed all trades for the renovation, including demolition, carpentry, acoustical and painting
