Leopardo Wins Project of the Year for The Evergreen

The Fox Valley Associated General Contractors (FVAGC) honored Leopardo with the 2016 Project of the Year Award for The Evergreen at Covenant Village of Northbrook in the new construction project over $3 million category. Serving as general contractor, Leopardo worked in collaboration with PFB Architects to complete the independent living facility. The Evergreen features 56 apartment units, a 60-unit parking garage, as well as a community room with adjacent kitchen.

The project was completed in early winter 2015 as part of Covenant Retirement Communities’ master plan to provide modern independent living for seniors. In addition to The Evergreen, Leopardo completed a interior renovation with a dining area, activity room and other common areas at the Brandel Care Center, a senior housing and rehabilitation facility on the same Northbrook campus.

Since its founding in 1977, Leopardo has won more than 500 industry awards, including 15 project of the year honors from multiple awarding organizations in the past 10 years. FVAGC has also recognized Leopardo with four safety excellence awards in the last six years.
