Leopardo Construction Promotes Angela Sheppard to Director of Risk Management

Leopardo is pleased to announce the promotion of Angela Sheppard to Director of Risk Management. In this expanded role, Sheppard will oversee the company’s enterprise-wide risk strategy, helping safeguard projects and partnerships through proactive planning, strategic alignment, and expert management of contracts, insurance, and compliance. 

Since joining Leopardo in 2016, Sheppard has led the company’s risk program with precision and care, navigating the complexities of Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI), Builder’s Risk Insurance, Subcontractor Prequalification, Insurance Procurement and Claims Management. Her oversight also includes Master Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Owner Contracts and bonding and licensing compliance—ensuring Leopardo’s operations are well-protected and positioned for success. 

With a collaborative approach and meticulous attention to detail, Sheppard has become a trusted resource for internal teams and external partners alike. Her ability to manage risk while supporting project execution has been instrumental in delivering consistent outcomes across Leopardo’s growing portfolio. 

As Director of Risk Management, Sheppard will continue to partner closely with legal, finance, project management, and executive teams to drive compliance, mitigate exposure, and uphold Leopardo’s standards of trust and accountability. Sheppard holds a degree in Management and is a certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®).
