Leopardo Recognized with Safety Award

The Chicagoland Associated General Contractors (CAGC) has recognized Leopardo’s outstanding safety record with a Safety Recognition Award. As an advocate for safe construction performance, the Chicagoland AGC operates a safety award program to recognize general and specialty contractors for outstanding safety performance.

“We are honored to receive this award and proud of the accomplishments it recognizes,” said Leopardo Vice President of Safety Ralph Barszcz. “One of Leopardo’s core values is seeing that our employees go home safely each night, and this is achieved through the combined efforts of every team member, from the field to the office.”

Leopardo has long been recognized for its best-in-class safety program, which is reinforced by an experience modification rate (EMR) from the National Council of Compensation Insurance that is consistently below the industry average.

Since its founding in 1977, Leopardo has won hundreds of industry awards for safety, quality and service and has been recognized with three safety excellence awards in the last five years. Leopardo has also won more than 25 project honors from multiple awarding organizations in the past five years.
