Leopardo Breaks Ground on its Future Chicago Office Location at 210 N. Carpenter

Leopardo has broken ground on the new 12-story boutique office building at 210 N. Carpenter in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market District.

210 N. Carpenter will feature a rooftop lap pool, tenant lounge and gaming area, full-service fitness center and locker rooms, a programmed yoga room, conference facilities, on-site parking, first floor retail and more. With flexible, fully customizable floor plates, this new mixed-use building will be ideal for tenants looking to elevate their brand, attract an urban workforce and experience Fulton Market to the fullest.

In addition to serving as general contractor, Leopardo will also be the building’s first tenant, having signed a long-term lease earlier this year for a space that will be the future home of its new downtown office. The space, which is set for January 2019 occupancy, will see an almost 80 percent increase in square footage from Leopardo’s current Loop office location at 333. W. Wacker to accommodate recent growth. The company’s headquarters will remain in Hoffman Estates within the Prairie Stone business park.

“This is yet another development in our continuing effort to build landmark projects in Chicago’s Fulton West neighborhood,” says CEO Jim Leopardo. “We are very excited to be underway building our future Chicago home.”

Leopardo is collaborating with real estate investor and developer Sterling Bay, as well as architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz to complete the project.

210 N. Carpenter is another in Leopardo’s long list of work with Sterling Bay, including the recently-completed Fulton West, the renovation of 400 S. Jefferson to serve as the corporate headquarters for Hillshire Brands, as well as multiple projects at 111 North Canal.
