With an emphasis on a healthy corporate culture, the new office will feature an open layout with numerous collaborative spaces. The design will also allow for the incorporation of natural lighting, promoting employee wellbeing and energy efficiency.
Leopardo recently began work on the build-out of the FBRK Impact House at 200 W. Madison St. The space will be Chicago’s first innovation-focused philanthropy center, dedicated to serving grant makers, family foundations and investors.
Leopardo recently completed a headquarters build-out for Intelligent Medical Objects located at 9600 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Rosemont and a build-out at 30 W. Monroe in Chicago.
The project consisted of selective demolition and an interior renovation of the temple, along with an entryway expansion and limited exterior work.
The new office space was built to reflect the energetic, employee-oriented culture of the company, with open office space, vivid color palettes, communal dining areas and an employee game room.
The expansion project included flexible workspace, minimal private offices and staff cafe with a breakroom that can also be used to accommodate town hall meetings.
In keeping with the firm’s commitment to employee wellness and environmental sustainability, this project is one of the first in Chicago seeking WELL v2 Gold certification.
The build-out took place on the 9th floor of Sterling Bay’s latest development at 210 N. Carpenter St., which was also built by Leopardo and houses the company’s dual LEED and WELL-seeking Chicago office.
The building is owned by LaSalle Investment Management and recently made headlines as the new location of the Chicago Bears headquarters.
In addition to serving as general contractor, Leopardo is also one of the building’s first tenants and is occupying the entire third floor.
The project included a complete renovation of their existing space along with expansions on the third and fourth floors.
This phased renovation of an existing occupied office space on the 48th floor included demolition, as well as new lighting, carpet and paint throughout.
