Leopardo Promotes Dave Rutledge to Vice President, Institutional Business Unit

Leopardo is pleased to announce that Dave Rutledge has been promoted to vice president of Leopardo’s institutional business unit. He joined Leopardo in 2009 as a project manager before rising to project executive. During his twelve years with the company, Dave has completed millions of square feet of construction and has played a key role in expanding Leopardo’s institutional business unit and its client relationships.

Dave has meticulously managed some of the most complex healthcare and hospital construction projects in the area. Some of his more notable projects on his impressive resume include the 130,000-square-foot Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, the 55,000-square-foot and 50,000-square-foot new medical office buildings for Duly Health and Care in Bloomingdale and Westmont, Illinois, as well as the 70,772-square-foot and 50,000-square-foot new outpatient care centers for Northwest Community Healthcare in Buffalo Grove and Kildeer, Illinois.

In his new role, Dave will continue to help grow Leopardo’s institutional business unit and create a culture of success measured through business and goal achievement.

“It’s rare to find someone who not only possesses the unique combination of skills that Dave has in both architecture and construction, but who can also utilize those skills at the highest level,” said Leopardo Senior Vice President Giancarlo Pacini. “Dave is a trusted mentor, a phenomenal developer of talent, and his passion for his work is second to none. We are thrilled to see him take this next step in his career and could not be more excited to see what great things he’ll do in this new role.”

Dave holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois, as well as a Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional of Building Design + Construction.
