Leopardo Recognized Among ENR’s Top 100 Green Contractors for 2023

Leopardo has again made Engineering News-Record (ENR)’s list of Top 100 Green Contractors, which ranks firms according to revenue for construction generated in 2023 from projects that have been registered with or certified by a third-party organization that sets standards for reducing a building’s or facility’s environmental impact. Leopardo attributes its repeat ranking to the exponential growth of its affordable housing market and several out of state projects seeking rating systems, such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Enterprise Green Communities, and the National Green Building Standard (NGBS).

As a leading authority in her field, Patty Lloyd, Director of Sustainability at Leopardo, was asked to contribute to ENR’s thought leadership piece on this year’s green building trends. Patty—who holds multiple green building credentials, including LEED Fellow, WELL AP, and Living Future Accreditation—thinks that the combination of federal and local incentive programs has propelled the  adoption and implementation of sustainable practices in construction.

“Developers and owners are increasingly looking beyond initial costs, and instead focusing on long-term ROI of implementing green measures,” said Lloyd. “Our extensive experience across multiple green building rating systems enables us to guide our clients through complex certification criteria and advise them on the most efficient path towards achieving their sustainability goals.”
