The Leopardo-built office of Mosaic, a marketing firm located in the West Loop, has been named one of Chicago’s coolest offices by Crain’s Chicago Business.
The new 2-story complex will house the Will County Sheriff’s Department office, a 911 dispatch center to serve 30 communities.
The project occupies the site of a former Dominick’s, which sat vacant for nearly a decade before Leopardo broke ground.
CEO James Leopardo was included on the 2016 Who’s Who in Chicago list released annually by Crain’s Chicago Business.
The development was the first new condominium high-rise to begin construction on Chicago’s North Side in five years and the first in the Gold Coast since 2007.
Leopardo has completed the renovation of Glen Oak Country Club, a private 18-hole golf course in Glen Ellyn.
The new facility will provide increased security, space and privacy. Once complete, the new 2-story station will include detention facilities and an enclosed sally port, as well as evidence processing with storage and vehicle exam, emergency operating center, patrol investigations, administration, community room and fitness area.
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America has recognized Leopardo’s outstanding safety record with a National AGC Safety Award.
Leopardo will accept the award at the 11th annual Emerald Awards ceremony, which recognizes outstanding individuals, organizations, projects and technologies.
Located in Chicago’s thriving Futon Market neighborhood, the modern office will be nine stories and include balconies, a private roof deck, as well as onsite parking with 610 spaces.
Leopardo recently completed a office renovation for FM Global, a worldwide mutual insurance provider.
